What is One Mom's Minutes? It's a new blog, seperating from my families personal blog, to share this one mom's minutes. How can I each day make every moment matter? How can you? What do you do to make each moment of life matter? What do you need to do to make each moment matter?

This blog is my minutes. The minutes from my meetings with God, the things I've learned that day about myself, my children, my marriage, my world. Practical things I am doing to make each moment matter. What I have found that allows me more time to focus on the moments. From organization and frugality, to homeschooling and cooking, to laughter and making memories.

I am a wife and mom. My husband I have been married for nearly 13 years now. The first half it was just the two of us. In answer to prayer, the second half has been filled to the brim with the addition of 4 little boys to our home. Our oldest was born in January 2004, his fraternal twin brothers joined the family in July 2006, and we welcomed our surprise child in July 2007. We've been busy! But we've also had opportunity to learn some lessons that we would not have if God had not walked us down the very specific path He had chosen for us. I hope to use this blog as an opportunity to share this one mom's minutes of our journey through infertility, not just to tell you our story, but to share what I learned, and to provide the encouragement that I was looking for several years ago. And to help those on the outside of that issue have some insight in how to relate to those who are in the midst of it. And to the extent I can, I want to encourage other moms who like me have lots of little people in a short amount of time.

I hope you'll join me on this blog, whether you are a new mom, an expectant momma, a hope-to-be mom, a mom in the trenches, an empty nest mom, or a grand mom. And I hope you'll share your comments and perspective too.
Thanks for reading, now go make this moment matter!

I had missed this new post until now. Good idea! I've thought of separating out family doings from my own mom thoughts, but haven't done it. I like this concept. Looking forward to reading your minutes. Although, I think I keep enough "minutes" in my work life that if I end up doing something similar for a different blog, I won't call them minutes! :) Anyway, I always enjoy your insight.
